9907-164 Using a bus controller and remote backplane, the X20 and X67 systems and XV manifold connections can be used as standard I/O components on all of these fieldbuses. The master can be any PLC system from any manufacturer. Standardized EDS or GSD description files allow the X20, X67 and XV system components to be integrated with their fieldbus configurator in the appropriate programming environment and configured and programmed as usual. In addition to the standard systems from Siemens, Schneider, or other fieldbus device configurators, B&R supports Allen Bradley’s new modular I/O systems for DeviceNet.

9907-164 Features:

The 9907-164 has triple galvanic isolation (power, RS232/432, PTSN ports) to protect the modem from interference or voltage surges. They can be easily mounted on 35 mm DIN rails, are ROHS compliant, and have an extended operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. Reliability and Information Security Modems are equipped with transient protection on the line side and have a “watchdog” function that monitors and automatically resets the modem in the event of a failure. They also feature password protection, callback security, and caller ID to ensure that only authorized users can communicate with the modem and any connected devices.
