Description

WOODWARD 9907-1200 CPU output module

The units of WOODWARD 9907-1200 each have an additional slot for hot swappable plug-in option modules (POMs). These POM modules come in USB, Ethernet, RJ12RS-232, 3PINRS-485, and 3PINRS-232 versions, and allow for on-demand network changes as communication needs change. The platform does not require a base or backplane, and expandable PLC units can add up to 8 I/O modules (depending on the model). There are currently 27 discrete I/O expansion modules available in 8, 12, and 16 point versions, allowing the system to scale up to 164 discrete I/O points. The stackable design of the platform allows users to purchase only the I/O required for their specific applications.

WOODWARD 9907-1200 provides practical features in an easy-to-use, compact but scalable design. This series of miniature brick PLCS with stackable I/O modules and free programming software is suitable for first-time users and experienced programmers. This stock has 8 inputs and 6 outputs, divided into 4 combinations of built-in I/O types. For expansion, 11 option modules start at $33 and can be used for flexible system configurations, with a maximum of 142 I/O. All click CPUs support 8K steps of flash EPROM program memory and 8K words of data storage. Two 24 VDC power options. Output 5a or 1.3a can be used to power the PLC.

The space saving design of this module system does not require the installation of a foundation; Clicking on the CPU module can connect to it through at most one integrated expansion port on both sides of the module, and is protected by locking tags at the top and bottom of all modules. A port only supports the MODBUSRTU protocol and can be used as a programming port. This port can also connect the CPU to the MODBUSrtu network as a slave device. The second port is a universal port with user configurable communication parameters, supporting MODBUSRTU or ASCII protocols. Two communication ports provide 5 VDC, allowing for the connection of C-more micro HMI panels without additional power supply. LED indicators located on each port indicate when the port is sending or receiving. WOODWARD 9907-1200
