Product Description

Model 8256-060 is an actuator that can be used on a prime mover without the need for a mechanical drive or hydraulic supply. It is part of Woodward’s Electrically Powered Governor series, and one of three parts used for an EPG system. A full system is created with an actuator, electronic speed control, and magnetic pickup. Product 8256-060 is EU Directive Compliant and uses clockwise rotation. It can be operated with various engines powered by diesel, gasoline, or gas.

The actuator is made to design heat up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. An optional speed trim can also be used on this model, accounting for a ±5% speed change.
