The TRICONEX 2351 redundant fault-tolerant control system is the best choice for the critical control of industrial processes where the highest levels of safety and continuous production are required. It has been successfully deployed by leaders in the chemical, oil and gas, paper and power industries. The TRICONEX 2351 is a state-of-the-art fault tolerant control system with Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture. It provides highly complete, error-free and uninterrupted process operation with two out of three votes and no single point of failure leading to system failure by integrating three isolated, parallel control systems (each called a sub-loop) and extensive diagnostic capabilities into a single system.
The TRICONEX 2351 uses today’s most advanced TMR microprocessor hardware technology and a mature and reliable triple-redundant fault-tolerant control system, fully compliant with IEC61508/61511 standards. With a wide range of performance in plant safety interlock system ESD, steam turbine control, gas turbine control, compressor anti-surge control, offshore oil platforms, and fire and gas monitoring and protection (F&G), the system features high reliability and utilisation and is widely used in petrochemical, refining, oil and gas, chemical, power, railway, aerospace, nuclear and other industries.
The most important feature of the TRICONEX 2351 is its fault-tolerant control, which simultaneously meets high reliability and high availability. The triple control, I/O modules and communication ensure high reliability and high availability of the system. The controller detects faults in control system components, automatically ejects the faulty component and allows on-line repair of the faulty component without process interruption while continuing the specified task.
