Description

The perfect busbar protector – protecting your equipment and personnel – REB670

The REB670 intelligent microcomputer protection device is characterized by its flexibility of application. It is designed for the protection and monitoring of busbars, T-connectors and branch lines in power systems from MV to UHV. Expandable input and output hardware modules enable the REB670 to meet the protection needs of single busbar, double busbar with or without side busbar, double circuit breaker and one and a half circuit breakers in a variety of wiring forms.

The REB670 is available in three different full-featured configurations, both three-phase and split-phase, and is suitable for busbar protection from 4 to 24 CT inputs. The REB670 is suitable for busbar protection from 4 to 24 CT inputs, with two low-impedance differential protection sections per device and busbar protection zone selection. The graphical editor of the commissioning software PCM600 makes it easy and intuitive to reconfigure the pre-configured REB670 to meet specific busbar protection requirements.

The large Human Machine Interface (HMI) provides a quick overview of the current magnitude and phase angle of all intervals, the differential current magnitude, the crossing current magnitude, the status of the CT connection to the busbar protection zone for each interval, the busbar protection zone selection status, as well as the actual status of the primary switchgear and trip signals and CT disconnection indications. All these make the commissioning faster and more effective and ensure the correct operation of the busbar protection.
