SMC INR-244-97B-B-X5 software can now be used as part of the complete system solution designed by KEB. All new security products are certified as ISO 61508SIL3 and ISO 13849-1LE. This safety PLC is a fail safe Ethernet Cat (FSOE) controller that synchronizes and monitors machine safety functions with the machine PLC. FSOE uses black track mode and can be used in conjunction with other bus systems. KEB’s safety PLC is connected to other FSOE auxiliary modules, such as safety I/O and servo drives, which have safety movement functions, monitor safety devices using safety PLC, and KEB now provides dedicated safety I/O modules. Each FSOE auxiliary device has four safety inputs, two safety outputs, and four OSSD outputs. Due to the use of Ethernet cats for fast and real-time communication, these modules are also an ideal choice for existing systems or installations that require scalable solutions. A FSOE manager can control up to 65535 slave devices. This security editor can be used in conjunction with KEB’s FSOE security PLC and I/O. This single programming environment allows programmers to develop the entire machine with a single software program, including action control and security.The security editor for SMC INR-244-97B-B-X5 uses an authentication plugin from CODISY and programs with functional blocks. The Corbis Studio is also used to configure KEB’s safety motion driver, which also supports FSOE and safety motion functions.
