RCU501 Remote Control Unit


RCU501 integrates network connectivity and expansion capabilities, providing a modern and universal SSI feedback solution for any PLC based system. This module can be extended to 6 2-channel modules, allowing users to use a single network connection interface with up to 12 SSI sensors. This interface program is compatible with most gray code or binary SSI sensors, including rotary encoders, linear sensors, barcode readers, and laser distance sensors, through the host controller’s (PLC) software.

 RCU501 interface functions of this module include: direct interface to most gray code or binary SSI sensors; Built in network interface; Simplify the scaling position of sensor data; Lock input to provide “snapshot” data capture; Supports up to 12 SSI sensors on a single network connection; Simple programming without additional software; Rail installation. Each visual 430 model of the module provides an onboard I/O configuration, including digitization, high-speed, and analog I/OS, as well as temperature and weight measurement options

The system adopts fbs-60mct type plc of Taiwan Yonghong Electric Co., Ltd. as the main controller.RCU501 series inverter for transmission control; hitech pws3261 touch screen for human-machine information exchange. Related system composition block diagram shown in Figure 1. In this system, plc port 2 and inverter constitute modbus bus, through plc control 3 sets of inverter to complete the system control needs, realize the inverter speed setting, operation status monitoring and parameter exchange.
