Description

PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM Slave Communication Module

PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM is a family of DC/DC drive drivers using a “boost” design. The use of a boost circuit (rather than the more common dropout) allows the LDB24 models to provide higher DC output levels than the input, which in turn allows them to drive longer LED strings. Nine models are available with input ranges of 9 to 18 VDC, 9 to 36 VDC0R18 to 36 VDC, and provide constant current outputs of 0.10A to 0.90A at corresponding output voltage levels of 14 to 48 VDC. Standard features include 95% efficiency, overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, and analogue or piezoresistive dimming control inputs.Has remote up/down control. ldb24 series MTBF (per million hdbk217f) is 1.29 hrs. All models in the LDB24 family are packaged in a 1.03×2.03 case. They are specified to operate in an operating temperature range of up to -40°C to +85°C without derailment or thermal sinking. Cooling is by free air convection. All models have wired leads rather than pins.PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM offers stable constant current output; analogue and digital control; output power; and output voltage ranges required to efficiently power and control high brightness LEDs in a range of applications. a certified reference design and interoperability with Loran gateways and network vendors. the PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM device offers sleep modes as low as 790nm to reduce power consumption in end-use applications. Packaged in a 6x6mm package, the Sam R34/35 series is designed for a wide range of multi-purpose information technology applications. the PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM is supported by the Loravan stack of microchips, as well as a certified chip package, enabling customers to design RF applications. Supported by global Loravan operation from 862 MHz to 1020 MHz, developers can use a single cross-geographic variant, simplifying the design process and reducing inventory burdens. The Sam R34/35 family supports Class A and Class C end devices as well as proprietary point-to-point connections.

This controller is designed to provide deterministic performance in time critical control applications. The PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM  extends the context select register to reduce interrupt latency and instruction execution to accelerate digital signal processor (DSP) routines. This PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM single-core family complements the recently announced DPAN33P dual-core family based on the same core. With 100 MPS performance, this core is suitable for motor control, digital power and other applications requiring complex algorithms such as automotive sensors and industrial automation. The PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM is specifically designed for controlling multi-sensor, brushless motors running field orientated control algorithms and power factor correction. The device includes integrated functional safety features for safety-critical designs, such as: built-in RAM self-test for checking RAM health and functionality; dead timer to monitor application health through periodic timer interrupts within a defined timing window; dual monitor timer (WTD); flash error correction code (ECC); Brown-out reset (Bor); reset power (Por); fail-safe power factor correction (PFPC); and a power supply (Por). ); Fail Safe Clock Monitor (FSCM).The PROSOFT MVI56E-MCM  has a Canada-FD communication bus to support automotive communication standards. It is integrated with analogue including ADCS (3.5MSP), analogue comparators with DACS, and operational amplifiers. The microcontroller includes an advanced digital power topology with a 250P resolution PWM, equivalent to a 4 GHz carrier frequency. Real-time firmware updates (up to 2x128kb blocks) are also provided to support high availability systems, especially important for digital power supplies.
