Similar to continuous high load work for a long time, the harsh working environment on site is also a major reason for the high failure rate of the locator. Taking the normal drainage control valve of the high pressure heater as an example, the actuator is a straight stroke, the valve body temperature is very high, and the locator is installed close to the valve body. The baking of the high-temperature valve body below causes the locator to have a high temperature, and the high temperature combined with vibration has a significant impact on the gas circuit block and even the entire locator.
After the locator malfunctions, abnormal air intake and exhaust will occur, and different fault phenomena will occur depending on the location of the damaged film, causing the actuator to open or close abnormally. After continuous operation for a period of time, the Penglin D3 intelligent locator experienced occasional unpredictable sudden closure. The valve suddenly closed while the command remained unchanged, and after changing the command to reopen the valve, the locator could still be put into normal use. However, this situation would seriously affect the safe and stable operation of the unit. Therefore, we will renovate and replace the pneumatic actuator locator that experienced such a malfunction.
