The Application Development Kit can be applied on the PFEA111-20 single board using the standard software environment common to PLC (Programmable Logic Control) programming. Designers of automation control applications can now obtain more cost-effective hardware solutions from Rabbit, and software development is compatible with the international standard IEC61131-3. PFEA111-20 systems, like factory assembly lines, generally use industrial programming languages such as Sequential Function Charts (SFC), Function Block Diagrams (FBD), Ladder Diagrams (LD), Structured Text (ST), and Instruction Lists (IL). the PFEA111-20 PLC Application Development Kit supports all of these languages as included in the IEC61131-3 standard, plus other industrial languages flowcharts (FC) are supported. The development kit also includes ISaGRAF version V3.50 (with 32 I/O packages), which supports porting to the Rabbit hardware platform.

The PFEA111-20 PLC Application Development Kit provides you with all the tools you need to develop the BL2500, an advanced single board with flash memory, SRAM, digital I/O ports, analogue I/O, RS-232/RS-485 serial ports, and 10/100baseT Ethernet ports. The BL2500 single board provides powerful, low-cost embedded solutions for automation control engineers for advanced applications such as industrial assembly control, access control, HVAC, and vending machines etc. The PFEA111-20’s dimensions of just 100 x 100 mm make it easy to mount on a standard 100 mm DIN rail. External connections are provided via polarised rolling friction phase lock connectors as well as cables.
