Description

O3EHa HENF315087R2 Processor Termination Module

All units have an additional slot for hot-swappable Pluggable Option Modules (POM). These POM modules are available in USB, Ethernet, RJ12RS-232, 3PINRS-485 and 3PINRS-232 versions and allow for on-demand networking as communication needs change. The platform does not require a chassis or backplane, and the expandable PLC unit can add up to eight I/O modules (depending on the model). There are currently 27 discrete I/O expansion modules available in 8, 12 and 16 point versions, enabling the system to be expanded to 164 discrete I/O points. The platform’s stackable design allows users to purchase only the I/O they need for their specific application.

O3EHa HENF315087R2 is based on the same drive technology as the previous Motion Chip, this drive reduces the time needed to assemble the machine by changing the screw-type contacts into simple pins. The system integrator can now easily design a clean board to hold all the components and remove all the cables. PIM2043 controls DC, brushless, linear and stepper motors up to 75W (24V, 3A) and embeds motion control, drive and PLC functionality in an open-frame unit (dimensions 59x42x20mm). The drives are programmable in the EaseMotion Studio with the Technical Soft Motion Language (TML) and graphical tools. It is most valuable in systems with distributed intelligence, where motion application tasks are distributed between the master drive and the drives. Its embedded motion controllers provide the same high-level motion language for all motors, making their technical differences transparent to the user. Complex motion sequences can be programmed directly on the drives, while system control functions are handled by the supervising PC/PLC. Motion patterns such as contouring, profiling, gearing, electronic assembly, PVT, etc. are easy to execute in independent or multi-axis operations. Typical feedback devices include incremental encoders, digital and linear halls. Distributed control is accomplished with external adapters.
