The NIMP01 provides high-speed communication and connectivity for serial devices such as printers, scanners, cameras and LCD screens. With Comtrol’s proprietary Unity ASIC chip, the INFINITY card is capable of 66 Mhz bus speeds for high performance. In addition, RocketPort INFINITY products are fully compatible with systems featuring 32- or 64-bit 3.3- or 5-volt PCI and PCI-X expansion slots. The RocketPort INFINITY multi-port serial cards are easy to install and are available in a variety of models. Four- and eight-wire products communicate at speeds up to 921 Kbps, and interface products can communicate at 460 Kbps. Additionally, the card’s small form factor makes it suitable for standard servers and 2U rackmount servers.
