NI SCXI-1180 Switch Module

NI SCXI-1180 offers flexibility, stability and reliability in a single cost-effective unit.The Oxy builds on the foundations of the 1900 Series, offering the same measurement benefits and a range of new and enhanced operating features to maximise flexibility in the configuration and use of applications. In addition to fault and calibration history, all units offer NAMUR-compliant relay functionality, allowing the remote transmission of two concentration alarm levels and messages for required maintenance, ongoing service and instrument faults.

 NI SCXI-1180 allows remote communication and device interrogation via RS485, and an optional Ethernet connection is also available. Auto-verification and auto-calibration features give the user complete flexibility for unmanned or remote operation, or the use of trend information to generate maintenance and reliability plans. Stainless steel pipework, automatic range change, fixed background gas compensation and measurement filtering are now also available as standard.

NI SCXI-1180 come with pigtail cables with locking connectors for easy attachment and can step up to 200 steps per revolution. The stepper motors are CE compliant. Nine high-torque bipolar stepper motors are available. Motor features:

 1.8° per step, 200 steps per revolution
 Standard NEMA frame sizes (17, 23, and 34)
 Locking connector for easy connection (MTR and MTRH motors have different connectors)
