Description
MVI56-PDPMV1 Universal interface module
The MVI56-PDPMV1 is used in a variety of process control applications including wellhead optimisation, two and three phase separator measurements, flow and pressure regulation stations. The system includes a compact, rugged multivariable transducer that provides up to 50 per cent greater accuracy than competing RTUS, with differential pressure and static measurements of +0.05 per cent and +0.28°C, respectively. Unlike other devices that support only one run, the 4203 can be coupled with a second multivariable transmitter to act as a dual-run gas flow computer.” The SCADASSAS 4203 offers an exceptional value in a packaged electronic flow measurement solution,” said Dale Symington, senior vice president of engineering, control microsystems. The internal PLC means more power and scalability are available for user applications. Streaming runs can be updated twice per second. And a powerful set of algorithms means the system can handle everything from simple chart recorder replacements to complex production optimisation and control.” And a powerful set of algorithms means the system can handle anything from simple chart recorder replacements to complex production optimisation and control.” And a powerful set of algorithms means the system can handle everything from simple chart recorder replacements to complex production optimisation and control
The MVI56-PDPMV1 includes a 32-bit SCSATAKACPLC, which greatly improves computational performance. A 95 per cent reduction in calculation intervals in a single-flow run of Aga-8 means improved accuracy. In addition, the flow run can be updated twice per second for greater control. The reduced power mode reduces power consumption by 50 per cent while still updating the flow twice per second. 4203 includes two discrete inputs for horizontal, pulse or turbine meter inputs. Selectable analogue outputs can be used to control drives and motors. Up to two analogue inputs can be used to measure tubing and casing pressure. Two RS-232/485 serial ports support an additional SCADASAS system transmitter, remote I/O, radio, local display or other serial device. When connected to other chips, the 4203 can take advantage of expanded I/O capabilities. The SCADASSAS 4203 uses MODBUS master/slave and MODBUSEFM protocols as its native protocols. No charge for dnp0 is provided. Custom protocols can be easily implemented using the system’s C++ programming tools.
