Description
MTL 8715-CA-BI BIM Carrier
the power management company, announced the launch of three series of operator interfaces for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and machine building applications. the MTL 8715-CA-BI basic human machine interface (HMI) is designed to provide machine visualisation and control, the MTL 8715-CA-BI HMI offers next-generation performance and functionality, and the MTL 8715-CA-BI industrial PC can operate as a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) solution. Designed for machinery OEMs, Eaton’s XV100 Basic HMI offers high performance, standard HMI functionality, and application support. the MTL 8715-CA-BI Basic HMI can be used in landscape or portrait mode, ensuring a good fit, while optimising visualisation. All MTL 8715-CA-BIs are designed with communication hardware options and feature standard Ethernet and USB ports, eliminating the need for custom programming.MTL 8715-CA-BI advanced HMIs include a combination of industrial HMI and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) multi-touch panel solutions for operator interface automation and control applications.
The MTL 8715-CA-BI series incorporates gesture-based control, multimedia integration, and user guidance. The MTL 8715-CA-BIAdvanced HMI also features a sleek design with a heavy-duty, anti-glare tempered glass panel that integrates media elements such as video, PDFs, and web content. The MTL 8715-CA-BI Advanced HMI also provides gesture support to improve efficiency when navigating complex menu screens. For example, users can flick to scroll through a list of parameters, swipe left or right to change pages, or swipe up or down to reveal hidden menus. With a scratch-resistant tempered glass screen, cast aluminium enclosure, and fanless design, the MTL 8715-CA-BI is designed to operate in harsh environments and hazardous applications. In addition, the MTL 8715-CA-BI runs on Windows Embedded Standard 7 and is compatible with a variety of user software and Eaton’s visualisation suite. Combined, these tools are designed to help OEMs minimise design complexity, shorten development time and create value for end users through object-oriented, reusable templates and controls.
