MICROSET 104988-E03’s new controllers can also use multiple SATAII hard disc drives and support RAID0 (striping) and RAID1 (mirroring) configurations. RAID defines a data storage scheme that divides and/or replicates data between multiple hard disc drives to increase reliability and/or improve file I/O performance. The new mounting controller has up to 4250GB of hard disc drives with a maximum capacity of 1tb and data read and write rates of up to 200mb/s, a significant increase over the previous controller. With these advantages, test engineers can record and playback data faster and longer. Also available is the Ni8353RT controller, which is a version of the Ni8353 multi-core controller that works with the lab’s real-time operating system. the CS513 3BSE000435R1 takes advantage of the quad cores available on Intel processors to improve the performance and decisiveness of a variety of real-time applications. MICROSET 104988-E03’s two CAN ports utilise the CSCT for distributed charge and play I/O over a distance of up to 500 metres, while providing support for CAN open and J1939 mobile applications.
