Description

KOLLMORGEN S21260-SRS Servo Drive Series

All units of the KOLLMORGEN S21260-SRS have an additional slot for hot-swappable Pluggable Option Modules (POM). These POM modules are available in USB, Ethernet, RJ12RS-232, 3PINRS-485 and 3PINRS-232 versions and allow for on-demand networking as communication needs change. The platform does not require a chassis or backplane, and the expandable PLC unit can add up to eight I/O modules (depending on the model). There are currently 27 discrete I/O expansion modules available in 8, 12 and 16 point versions, enabling the system to be expanded to 164 discrete I/O points. The platform’s stackable design allows users to purchase only the I/O they need for their specific application. Providing practical functionality in an easy-to-use, compact yet scalable design. This range of miniature brick PLCS with stackable I/O modules and free programming software is suitable for first time users and experienced programmers.

The KOLLMORGEN S21260-SRS has 8 inputs and 6 outputs in 4 built-in I/O type combinations. For expansion, 11 option modules are available for flexible system configurations with up to 142 I/O. All single-click CPUs support 8K steps of flash programme memory and 8K words of data storage. Two 24 VDC power supply options. Outputs 5a or 1.3a can be used to power the PLC. The space-saving design of the KOLLMORGEN S21260-SRS system does not require a mounting base; the click CPU modules can be connected to the click CPU modules via up to one integrated expansion port on either side of the module and are protected by locking tabs on the top and bottom of all modules. One port supports only the MODBUSRTU protocol and can be used as a programming port. This port can also connect the CPU to a MODBUSrtu network as a slave device. The second port is a general purpose port with user-configurable communication parameters and supports MODBUSRTU or ASCII protocols. Both communication ports provide 5 VDC, allowing the connection of C-More miniature HMI panels without additional power supply. LED indicators located on each port indicate when the port is transmitting or receiving.
