Description
IS420YDOAS1B Safety Systems
IS420YDOAS1B Engineering knowledge, training and experience of suitable sensors and final components; knowledge of safety systems engineering (e.g. process safety analysis); understanding of legal and regulatory functional safety requirements; and sufficient management and leadership skills appropriate to their roles in SIS safety lifecycle activities
Detailed information on the safety integrity level of the safety instrumented functions deployed in the IS420YDOAS1B project. Application and technology complexity. Procedures should be in place to manage the competencies of all personnel involved in the SIS lifecycle. Periodic assessments should be conducted to document the competency of individuals for the activities they are performing and for changes within their roles.
IS420YDOAS1B A security plan should be developed to identify the activities that need to be carried out with the individuals, departments, organisations or other units responsible for carrying them out. The plan should be updated as necessary throughout the SIS security lifecycle and implemented to a level of detailed activity commensurate with the role of the individual or organisation in the Security Instrumented System (SIS) security lifecycle.
