IC698CRE030-DE is an on-site instrument and corresponding actuator. The purpose of building a DCS system is to achieve automation in the production process. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor many production parameters in real time, such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, liquid level, etc., and control some actuators, such as regulating valves, on/off valves, and various circulating pumps. The function of the on-site level is to collect real-time parameters of these devices and feedback these parameters to the control level. For the on-site level, it is like our eyes and hands collecting and executing them. The process control level parses the data transmitted from the field level and provides corresponding control methods through the corresponding programs within the system. It can be said that the control level is like our brain, which needs to process the information we see, and then transmit the things we want to do to our hands and feet through nerves. In other words, it receives the information from the field level, performs calculations, and outputs it to the execution mechanism at the field level.

IC698CRE030-DE mainly consists of a process controller, I/O components, and field instruments, and is the main on-site implementation part of the system control function. The process control level is equivalent to the core of the entire DCS system, which is a complete computer system composed of power supply, CPU, network interface, and various modules.
