IC698CRE030-DE clamp type crane is used to lift hot and cold steel billets above the equalizing furnace, which has high temperature, metal dust, heavy load and high vibration. IC698CRE030-DE is a fully digital DC motor driver M550R from Control Techniques (UK), with an output current range of 25 A to 1850 A. It is divided into two configurations: single-quadrant and four-quadrant. The single-quadrant drive is capable of forward operation only, while the four-quadrant drive is fully reversible. Both configurations of the drive can fully control the speed and torque of the motor, and the four-quadrant drive can fully control forward and reverse operation. It still works on the basic principle of controlling the terminal voltage of the armature and thus the current fed to the motor, thus achieving speed regulation.
