HYDRAN M2 Fault Gas Detector


The HYDRAN M2 general purpose plc generally provides 1 or 2 rs-232 or rs-485 communication ports for communication with other control devices; these communication ports support a limited number of communication protocols to realize communication and configuration of plc devices. This project utilizes the plc’s own communication ports and expands them to be able to network with multiple devices, realizing a fieldbus-based can-bus multiple plc network. According to the different master controllers in the network, the plc network is divided into the following ways: multiple plc networking, each plc is of equal status, and can be expanded with hmi HMI; multiple plc networking, with one industrial control pc as the master controller and operator interface. This paper focuses on two networking methods based on rs-232 or rs-485 communication port plc.

HYDRAN M2 makes plc with can-bus communication interface through rs-232/rs-485 to can-bus gateway for signal conversion. Multiple plc units with can-bus communication interface are connected to each other, i.e. plc network can be formed. Each rs-232/rs-485 to can-bus gateway connected to a plc unit can be set an independent device id number, the length of which is 11 or 29 bits, which is used as the address of the plc unit.

HYDRAN M2 through the above way to form a plc network, any one plc can take the initiative to initiate data communication, by the can-bus gateway to play the role of hardware automatic arbitration, to ensure that the data of each communication will not be lost; the number of plc in the network is not limited, hundreds or thousands of plc can be connected to the same fieldbus can-bus network. At the same time, the plc network can be connected to the hmi human-machine interface with can-bus communication interface.
