This article provides a concise and concise discussion on the composition, software, hardware, and interface requirements of ATE/ATS from a technical perspective. 1. Universal Test System Architecture: The Universal Automatic Test System (ATS) is mainly composed of three parts as shown in Figure 1: the main control computer, the bus instrument measurement and control combination, and the signal conditioning and switching device. The software in the “master computer” mainly includes the operating system, compiler, and test execution program (TP). The main control computer and system software provide the development and operation environment for TP, and control the testing and measuring instruments through the control bus to complete the execution of TP, retrieve test data, and generate test reports.
