The above design and results are based on Alter’s Stratix series EPlS25F67217 and TI’s TMS320C5416 devices. The waveform simulation diagram is based on the QuartusII 5.0 simulation development environment. Based on the above design principles and performance analysis, the frame synchronizer designed in this article has the following advantages: the entire synchronization process data stream does not pass through DSP, saving data processing time; Has strong anti-interference ability, adaptive frame head recognition, and fault tolerance for frame loss correction; The design based on software radio concept makes it highly versatile, suitable for various variable frame structures and synchronization codes, and the parameters can be flexibly configured; Adopting adaptive threshold, secondary threshold decision, and single/multiple frame parallel detection strategies, the synchronization establishment time is shortened and reliability is improved.
Through practical application on the telemetry baseband data processing board, the adaptability, anti-interference ability, reliability, and capture performance of the frame synchronization system have been further verified.
