GE VMIVME-7452 Analog input/output module

The GE VMIVME-7452  quay bridge of DCT (Dalian Container Terminal Co., Ltd.) is a single beam structure and adopts ABB electric control system. Its programming is using ABB Function Chart Builder (FCB) and programming language AMPL. The lifting tool tilt adjustment mechanism is located at the front end of the boom, with a total of 4 sets of tilt screws, each controlling 4 lifting steel wire ropes to achieve the purpose of adjusting the angle of the lifting tool.
In our work, we often encounter the malfunction of QC10-15 shore bridge crane tilting without action. This fault is generally caused by the hardware stop limit action of the lifting tool tilting screw. At this point, all the movements of the lifting appliance tilting have not occurred, even if the lifting appliance return to zero button is pressed, there is no response. In the original program design, there was encoder protection before the hardware stopped limiting. When the encoder stopped, the lifting tool could be adjusted in reverse. However, in practical work, due to reasons such as replacing the lifting steel wire rope, the encoder position is often inaccurate, resulting in the adjustment of the lifting tool tilting and hitting the GE VMIVME-7452 stop limit. In this situation, it is necessary for the repair personnel to force the tilt stop limit on the CMS, and the driver to press the tilt back to zero button to reset the lifting appliance before readjusting the lifting appliance. This situation not only affects work efficiency, but also increases the workload of repair personnel.
