GE IC693PWR322F Standard Power Supply


The GE IC693PWR322F allows an industrial PC to play the role of a PLC and still maintain the functional characteristics of an industrial PC. The software is capable of performing the control tasks determined by a PLC and is as fast as the programme execution time, all within 1ms; it is also capable of handling multitasking work simultaneously, but not more than 16 control tasks at the same time. A mechanism with a priority and multitasking kernel keeps track of each control task and ensures that the control task achieves the highest priority.

Capable of running all five IEC61131-3 standard programming languages and PID control programmes, the GE IC693PWR322F supports two types of I/O control devices. One is fieldbus I/O devices like Profibus and DeviceNet; the other is industrial PCI/O templates like ISA and PC/104. In addition, the software provides online editing and configuration of the control system. Programs can be developed and run under Windows 95/98 and Windows NT, but are also capable of execution under RTXDOS.

GE IC693PWR322F provides an industrial control software product Tealware, which has been very imaginatively referred to as a PLC in industrial PC clothing. those control systems mounted on racks already have the form factor of a small PLC, but SoftPLC’s control software has been embedded into the CPU. the Tealware software is able to meet the needs of needs of all types of industrial users, from small, stand-alone systems to large, decentralised multi-control workstation applications. Features include a full range of I/O modules, built-in Ethernet and industrial serial communication interfaces.
