Application examples
The motor speed control system is shown in Figure 3-1. The input variable of the fuzzy controller is the difference e and its change rate ec between the actual speed and the given speed value, and the output variable is the voltage change u of the motor. Figure 3-2 shows the motor debugging output results, with the horizontal axis representing the time axis and the vertical axis representing the speed. When the set speed is 2 000r/s, the motor can quickly and stably operate at 2 000r/s; When the set speed drops to 1 000r/s, the speed quickly drops to 1 000r/s for stable operation.

4 Summary
The implementation of the universal fuzzy controller on PLC adopts a two-dimensional fuzzy control structure, which ensures the simplicity and speed of the system. Its inputs are system error E and error rate of change EC, so it has functions similar to conventional PD controllers and good dynamic characteristics. In practical applications, it has been confirmed that the system has fast response speed, small overshoot, and high steady-state accuracy. In order to achieve better static performance, a fuzzy integral unit should be added to form a PID fuzzy controller.
