FCP270 P0917YZ Code Generator
The FCP270 P0917YZ software package enables manufacturers and machine builders to drastically reduce the overall cost of machine project development, commissioning time and ownership. The software can be downloaded via a web site, run as a custom application on the user’s machine and connected to a database hosted by PLC Code Generator. Users simply configure their machine project, including all machine I/O (inputs and outputs), I/O relationships and general machine sequences. The software then produces a complete PLC programme with full machine control (including automatic and manual forward/reverse modes) and diagnostic functions, as well as a complete set of programme addresses and crossfile comments.
Programming and tag generation via commonly used touchscreens or HMIs is also included. emjen’s initial process review of the software FCP270 P0917YZ included the application of the PLC Code Generator to generate PLC programs for at least 3 different machines with a total I/O count of approx. 150. As these machines had already been programmed previously, emjen was able to provide a time and cost analysis of manually programming the machines. with the generation of the programmes using the PLC Code Generator. Results: Average time savings of more than 80%, average cost savings of more than 50%.
Any of FCP270 P0917YZ’s networking products combine specialised I/O functions and network interfaces into a compact package that communicates with a host controller (PLC or PC) over a network. Any network product provides a variety of network interfaces to ensure compatibility with PLCs or PAPs. The solution is easily mounted on standard DIN rail, simplifying installation and reducing costs. All programming is performed by the same software used to configure the host PLC/PC, eliminating the need to learn new software and/or languages unrelated to the control environment. Any network I/O can be easily expanded from 1/O modules to 6/O modules by stacking additional units onto a “gateway”, and all communication requires only a single network connection. This solution allows the user to combine different special functions on a single network connection, allowing the user to customise a powerful automation solution for any plc-based application.
