F8627X supports the demand for smart factories. Industries such as mechanical manufacturing and automotive, food and beverage, life sciences, and water treatment will benefit from control capabilities. The FR-E800 utilizes artificial intelligence and reduces downtime through its extended predictive maintenance function, which features the world’s first 1Corrosive Gas Warning System2. The inverter also achieves high-performance control of induction and permanent magnet motors, achieving a safety integrity level (SIL) of 3 Ple. By integrating multiple communications without the need for optional cards, higher flexibility is provided. The standard supports major industrial Ethernet networks, including CC Link IE TSN. Two Ethernet ports that support linear, ring, and star topologies also enhance network flexibility. This inverter features the industry’s first corrosive gas environment detection circuit, enhancing predictive maintenance. Combined with Mitsubishi Electric’s driver artificial intelligence diagnostic technology, it can identify and solve the cause of faults early without the need for professional skills, thereby helping to reduce overall downtime. F8627X provides enhanced customized control through software configured built-in PLC functionality. Multiple inverters can be controlled by a single host, eliminating the cost of external PLCs. The automatic tuning of FR E800 can be used for surface permanent magnet (SPM), internal permanent magnet (IPM), and future synchronous reluctance motors, providing maximum flexibility by reducing spare parts inventory. Support closed-loop vector control (with encoder), true sensorless vector control (without encoder), sensorless positioning and other control methods. The FR-E800 series has expandable features that can meet the diverse needs of applications, with output power ranging from 0.1kW to 7.5kW. In the future, it will be expanded to 22kW (regular type)/30kW (light type), supporting 200V single-phase/three-phase, 400V and 575V three-phase. No encoder required, including Safety Torque Off (STO), Safety Stop 1 (SS1), Safety Brake Control (SBC), and Safety Speed Monitor (SSM).
