Emerson on ASCO ™ The 090 series three way micro solenoid valve product has been expanded to include a new type of 090 series three way valve configuration, providing a lighter and more space saving solution for controlling gases in oxygen therapy, pressure therapy, and gas analyzer equipment.
The initial product developed for the 090 series valve was a two way valve for air and inert gases in portable medical devices. It has features such as compact structure, small size (10.8mm), and a cycle life of 50 million times, with extremely high reliability. Moreover, due to the newly designed three way configuration of the 090 series solenoid valve, which can perform the same mixing and diverting functions as a pair of two way valves, it further simplifies the design of small high-precision gas delivery systems for oxygen therapy and other home care equipment.
Like all 090 series valves, the new three-way valve is designed to maximize gas flow, with excellent flow to size ratio, making it ideal for portable medical device applications. The valve body is molded from PBT plastic, and the sealing element is made of FKM elastomer, which is durable. The 090 series actuators have high reliability and low power consumption, thus maximizing battery life and equipment life. In addition, the 090 series solenoid valves comply with RoHS restrictions on harmful substances and relevant CE directives.
