Description
EMERSON A6410 Valve and case Expansion monitor
EMERSON A6410 is a data acquisition system for small-scale process control applications, which now provides a method to integrate legacy 4-20mA, RTD, thermocouples, and hardware based instruments into modern control systems. RSG45 can quickly integrate up to 20 independent instruments into an Ethernet/IP environment using a single standard CAT5 cable. Ethernet/IP connections also allow factories to control batch start/stop activities from the control room. The strategic alliance between Enclave, Hauser, and Rockwell Automation provides integration of management processes.
Ethernet/IP is one of the fastest developing fieldbus digital communication systems. Other fieldbus technologies are mainly used to connect distributed control systems. However, Ethernet/IP can easily connect to programmable controllers, programmable automation controllers, distributed control systems, and PC based control systems. Additionally, unlike other fieldbus protocols, Ethernet/IP does not require expensive and complex power and I/O cabling infrastructure. These features make Ethernet/IP the most attractive communication protocol for process devices, which aim to upgrade their legacy instrumentation and control systems to PLCs, computer control programs, or PC based systems, or even new or upgraded DCS.
