EMERSON A6220 Discrete Input I/O Module

EMERSON A6220 supports all major communication standards, including DEICENET, PRFIBUS data exchange systems, CANBOST, and MOBUS data exchange systems, as well as wireless communication, making integrated controllers suitable for practically any factory site. Since its launch in 2006, AC500PLC has been proven popular among OEMs and factory operators, who are looking for a system that is easy to scale to meet ever-changing needs for appropriate protection and transmission of sensitive analog signals, A shielded sub D connector (15, 25, or 37 pole options) with 24 shielded ad hoc working group wiring is provided

The new features of EMERSON A6220 include customizable points and a drum timer for sequential operations by clicking edit from the control toolbar, as well as automatic backup of changes to the most recently saved four items. EMERSON A6220 has up to three local I/O boards and remote I/OS bus communication, providing users with a single control point for a range of production unit functions, including peripheral production equipment such as chucks, feeders, and auxiliary machines.

The user interface theme of EMERSON A6220 allows operators to create a unique appearance and feel for specific projects. The dockable window function allows for the transfer of cross referencing and data views. The ability to automatically hide or even tear off views and place them outside of the direct software workspace optimizes the full staircase view. The “Top of the Day” feature provides simple advice on how to learn the new features of Direct Software 5 and how to take shortcuts. By default, this feature will display a new prompt every time the programming software is opened.
