Description
DPO5054B Temperature Rise Measurement and Control Device
The 10kV power feed from the DPO5054B is added to the 10kV converter transformer T1 after passing through the high-voltage circuit breaker CB in the feeder frame and the disconnect switch G in the high-voltage disconnect switchgear cabinet (which is used to form a visible break in case of equipment service or maintenance). This transformer converts three-phase power into single-phase power. This is mainly due to the fact that the load current is very high when doing experiments, and if a three-phase power supply is used, it is easy to cause an imbalance in the load current and thus cause test faults.
The DPO5054B connects a single-phase temperature rise test transformer T2 to the output (secondary side) of the converter transformer. the primary side of the temperature rise transformer should be equipped with a capacitor bank for reactive power compensation, while the secondary side is directly connected to the test article (i.e., a high-voltage thyristor valve) through the on-load tap-changer to carry out the temperature rise test.
