Description

DL42N-22 Thermocouple Relay Module

The DL42N-22 easily adds I/O to any OPC-compliant software package. Engineers can choose from a variety of Compact FieldPoint modules, including analog inputs and outputs, thermocouples, RTDs, strain relief, high-current relays, and digital I/O. The Compact FieldPoint platform offers extended operating temperatures – from -40° to 70° C – as well as Class I, Division 2 industrial ratings. Modules Using a simple drag-and-drop FieldPoint API, engineers can select the appropriate I/O channel from the cFP-1804 or cFP-1808 and then immediately add it to a LabVIEW block diagram for a PC or Compact FieldPoint real-time controller.

The DL42N-22 provides a network watchdog to set values to safe and energized states. In addition, adding Ethernet-based communications to PAC systems is now easier with the new NI LabVIEW 8 graphical programming environment. Engineers can add I/O, including Compact FieldPoint, NI CompactRIO, and NI CompactVision System modules, using the LabVIEW project, a new project environment for managing large applications in LabVIEW 8.
