Description
The DANAHER S20660-SRS targets intelligent buses, including fleet management and passenger information displays, while the V3S targets video surveillance, recording and analysis. The V3 series gateways can operate over a temperature range (-40~70°C). Features 14nm Intel Atom x7-E3950 (formerly Apollo Lake). There are I/O external connections, including 2x serial COM ports, 2x DV-D, USB and digital I/O ports for video output, 2x RJ-45 LAN ports and SATA/MSATA storage options. For wireless network connectivity, the V3G offers 2x small PCE sockets with swappable Sim slots to support 3G/4G/LTE cellular communications. In addition, the system offers a CAN bus option for analysing driving behaviour.
The DANAHER S20660-SRS is designed as an in-vehicle surveillance NVR, providing 2xGbeRJ45 ports plus 4xRJ-45POE ports for IP camera connectivity, removable 2.5″ hdd/SSD drive bay storage. In terms of wireless connectivity, the V3S is internally mounted with 1 full-size mini-computer with dual-mode card reader, 1 half-size computer, and 1 external mini-computer with dual-mode card reader.
Due to the constant movement of the vehicle, uneven surfaces may often be encountered. With this in mind the DANAHER S20660-SRS is E13 compliant and Mil-STD-810G shock and vibration resistant to ensure proper operation when travelling on non-flat surfaces. Temperature is another issue when installed inside a vehicle. Therefore, the V3 series was built to support a temperature range of -40 to 70°C.
