The D20 EME 10BASE-T module is built on the Profichip PLC7001 chip. The previous generation product PLC7000 has been in use for nearly 4 years and has over 20000 application instances worldwide. PLC7001 is based on the core technology of PLC7000 and provides extended IO characteristics directly on the chip, with up to 32 digital inputs and 24 digital outputs.
