The CP451-50 designs, engineers and manufactures scalable drive solutions for all areas of the wastewater industry. Their specialised solutions include corrosion protection, IP66 or IP69K rated protection, overload protection, optimised sealing systems and biodegradable synthetic oils to withstand fluctuating environmental conditions, humidity and outdoor environments. All Nordic gear units are carefully designed for reliability, versatility, quiet operation and long service life. Helical inline gear units are compact in design and can be easily installed where installation space is limited, such as in pump applications. These gear units offer flexible configurations with tight step ratios, versatile foot or flange mounting and performance values up to 215 HP. High axial and radial load capacities ensure efficient, safe operation, preventing backflow and keeping the system running smoothly, moving wastewater from one process to the next.

The CP451-50 provides reliable operation in a compact, rugged design. These gear units feature a variety of VL bearing options, such as reinforced drive shaft bearings for maximum radial and axial load capacity. Dry well options are also available, including additional oil drip plates, oil leak detectors or oil sensors, as well as hollow shaft versions with shrink discs.With 15 housing sizes ranging from 0.16-200 HP and torque ratings up to 680,000 lb-in, the CLINCHER is capable of handling a wide variety of wastewater applications. For grit collectors, screening and clarification systems, Nord’s helical bevel gear units are ideal. These units can be foot, flange or shaft mounted and feature a variety of shaft options, allowing them to be adapted to a wide range of applications and environments. They also feature unlimited gear life, high axial and radial load capacity, minimal backlash and heavy-duty bearings.
