The module’s up to four different network protocols can be active at any one time for applications with multiple vendor controllers. This synchronised protocol functionality allows the module to act as a protocol converter, data concentrator and gateway to seamlessly share data with different PLC manufacturers, motion controllers, servos, etc. These units include CUL Class I Design Information II, CE certification. Standard interfaces for most of the units include USB, RS232, RS422, RS485, Siemens Direct MPI serial interface, compact flash port and 10/100 Ethernet. the USB host port allows easy connection to barcode readers, printers and a wide range of peripheral devices. Up to four different network protocols can be active at any time for multiple vendor controller applications.
