Bently’s 3500 Series has been designed to fully meet the American Petroleum Institute standard API 670, the technical specification for the world’s most widely used mechanical protection system. For reciprocating compressor applications, the Series 3500 also meets API 618. The system can be ordered with DNV and Class NK certificates for offshore applications such as offshore platforms and ship propulsion applications. Furthermore, when used as a component of a safety instrumented system, it can be supplied with a TUV functional safety certificate for applications requiring up to full integrity level (SIL) 3. In addition, the 3500 Series has been certified to meet relevant Canadian Standards Association (CSA), Factory Mutual (FM), GOST, ATEX and CE requirements.

Connecting to System 1 software has never been easier, as the 3500 was designed with full data acquisition and communication capabilities integrated into the rack. Simply provide an Ethernet cable from your System 1 server computer to the 3500/15 interface of the Rack Interface Module and use our convenient software configuration features to enable the appropriate channels in the rack. It’s as simple as that. No external junction boxes or wiring to worry about, no separate signal conditioning or interface devices required!
