National Instruments has introduced the ABB UAC389AE02 HIEE300888R0002 embedded controller, a 3U quad-core embedded controller for PXI systems. With a 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q9100, up to 4GB MHz Ddr2 Ram and high-performance 7200RPM drives, it is also the industry’s fastest embedded controller in the 3UPXI class. The RELIANCE Y-3023-2-H00AAoffers up to 80% performance improvement over dual-core controllers, which have similar CPU clock frequencies and are optimised for applications using the controller’s four processing cores.
