The ABB SM811K01 3BSE018173R1 is a cost-effective and simple ABB mass flow meter with the latest DSP converter, which can be mounted integrally or separately from the flow meter sensor. The integrated design reduces installation and cabling costs. Flow information can be viewed directly at the meter and the meter can be installed in your pipework in a more space-efficient manner.
The ABB SM811K01 3BSE018173R1 operates on the Koch force principle. The design has the following features:
Space saving and robust design.
Two independent current outputs for flow and density signalling, also via a pulse output.
Contact inputs and outputs.
Explosion proof approval: The explosion proof type of the output circuits can be selected by the user as “i” or “e” and is determined by the type of ignition protection of the connected circuits. The type of explosion protection can be changed after installation. The contact outputs can be set as NAMUR outputs by the user.
Maximum permissible fluid temperature up to 180oC with CIP capability
Two line display with backlighting, data entry using a magnetic bar, no need to open the face cover.
Mass Converter with Digital Signal Processor (DSP)
The converter of the ABB SM811K01 3BSE018173R1 contains a digital signal processor (DSP) that can be used to carry out the highest accuracy measurements of mass flow and density values. The Koch force transducer signals are immediately converted into digital information without any intermediate analogue steps.
