Description
ABB PP825A 3BSE042240R3 Direct logic terminal
With a flexible system architecture and integrated security, this system is designed to meet the needs of today’s monitoring applications. Users only need to choose the correct combination of modules in almost any arrangement and create customized solutions for each job. Users can establish an axis subsystem with up to 6 units or nodes, which are connected in the network through the Ethernet protocol. Each node can accommodate 10 modules, including a processor module, one or two power supplies, and a combination of user determined I/O modules suitable for the application.
The axis sub node uses an integrated RTAC module as the CPU, which means that the axis sub is not only an RTU, but also a complete substation data concentrator and integration platform. The axial power module adopts the same on-site verification technology as the SELL protection relay and supports the entire node. In critical situations where two input power supplies are available, install dual power modules on each node to control the required process in the event of a power supply failure. Even when nodes on the axis are distributed using available fiber optic Ethernet connections, all I/O points are updated every millisecond.
All tags in the system can be recorded as event sequence reports for the entire system. Engineers can combine axes with SEL icon communication networks when they need to separate nodes over large distances without losing determinism. There is a complete IC61131 logic processor on the axis, with secure communication, advanced data centralization, local and remote I/O, and protocol conversion capabilities between multiple built-in client/server protocols. The independent information system 61131 engine provides engineers with a means to run custom control logic at two different speeds.
