ABB PM645B Common Mode Interference


Differential mode interference between the input lines of the PM645B input signal can be reduced by using input module filtering, while common mode interference between the input lines and earth can be suppressed by grounding the controller. When there is an inductive load at the input, in order to prevent the effect of inductive potential due to the sudden change of the circuit signal, the reliability fault tolerance and tolerance design techniques of hardware can be used.

PM645B For AC input signals, capacitor C and resistor R can be connected in parallel at both ends of the load, and for DC input signals, the DC input signal can be connected in parallel with the continuity diode D. Generally speaking, when the load capacity is below 10VA, C should be selected as 0.1 μF, and R as 120 , and when the load capacity is above 10VA, C should be selected as 0.47 μF, and R as 47 .
