The Compound L32E controller is a scaled down version of the Compound L35E controller, creating a more economical solution for less complex applications. Providing 750 kilobytes of user storage capacity, the controller supports 16 local I/O modules. Providing end users and OEMs with higher I/O counts, faster high-speed counters and pulse train outputs (PTOs), and improved networking capabilities. This new controller family has up to 38 embedded I/O counters and can support up to 7 additional I/O modules for up to 144 discrete I/O points. Other features include up to six embedded 100 kHz high-speed counters and removable terminal blocks. The MicroLogix x1400 controller can support up to 10,000 programme words and 10,000 data words, as well as memory modules for programme backup and transfer, and data logging or record storage. The controller is equipped with a built-in Celeron M1 Gigahertz processor and 512MB of memory.
