Description
800PP846A RTU Transmission Module
800PP846A For broadcast messages the slave does not return a response frame. In networks that allow multiple stations such as RS485, at most one slave can respond to the master’s request. The Modbus protocol can be used in both ASCII and RTU transmission modes, and this system supports the RTU format. 800PP846A Configuration King accesses the PLC related register addresses through the serial port to obtain the status of the devices controlled by the PLC or to modify the values of the related registers.
800PP846A does not need to write a program to read or write PLC registers in the actual programming process. Configuration King provides a data definition method, and after defining the I/O variables, the variable names can be used directly for system control, operation display, trend analysis, data logging and alarm display. In order to ensure that the S7-200 PLC can communicate with the IPC normally, in addition to setting the PLC correctly during the configuration process (baud rate 9600b/s, 7 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, and station number 2) and loading the PLC’s communication driver, it is necessary to carry out a section of the program shown in Fig. 4, the function of which is to set the PLC’s communication parameters in the same way as the upper computer settings are consistent.
