5SHY3545L0010 enables industrial control engineers to add high-speed measurement and analysis, advanced control, network connectivity and data logging to existing systems to improve machine performance and quality. The new NI CompactRIO PROFIBUS C-Series modules connect CompactRIOs and NI Single-Board RIOs as masters or slaves to a PROFIBUS DP network, adding high-performance measurement and custom control to standardised PROFIBUS-based systems. In addition, NI introduced a single-port FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 interface for USB and a pair of DeviceNet motherboards for PXI and PCI. With more than 30 million nodes installed worldwide, PROFIBUS is one of the leading industrial networks connecting programmable logic controllers (PLCs), I/O, sensors, and drives in industrial and automation systems. The new C-Series modules connect CompactRIO PACs and NI Single-Board RIO embedded systems to the PROFIBUS industrial network and add high-performance measurements, advanced analytics, and custom field-programmable gate array (FPGA) logic to existing systems.
