The software of the on-site control unit 5466-425 mainly consists of software modules such as real-time database centered data inspection, control algorithms, control outputs, and network communication. Real time databases play a central role in data sharing, where each execution code exchanges data with it to store on-site collected data, control outputs, intermediate results of certain calculations, and information on control algorithm structures. The data inspection module is used to collect on-site data and fault signals, and to achieve necessary auxiliary functions such as digital filtering, unit transformation, compensation calculation, etc. The control function of DCS is generated through configuration. Different systems require different control algorithm modules, which usually involve the following modules: arithmetic operation module, logic operation module, PID control module, variant PID module, manual automatic switching module, nonlinear processing module, actuator control module, etc. The control output module mainly realizes the output of control signals for fault handling.

The operation station of 5466-425 is used to complete tasks such as system development, generation, testing, and operation, which requires corresponding system software support, including operating systems, programming languages, and various tool software. A complete set of DCS application software running on the operation station should be able to achieve the following functions: real-time database, network management, historical database management, graphic management, historical data trend management, detailed database display and modification, record report generation and printing, human-machine interface control, control circuit adjustment, parameter list, serial communication, and various configurations. The development process of DCS mainly involves using system configuration software to generate various application software based on the actual needs of the control system. The configuration software functions include basic configuration configuration and application software configuration. Basic configuration configuration is to provide the system with configuration information, such as the number of various stations in the system, their index flags, the maximum number of points for each control station, the shortest execution cycle, and memory capacity.
