High and low pressure heaters and deaerators are important equipment in the steam and water system of power plants. The water level control valve of the high and low pressure heater operates in an angular stroke mode, and the power plant requires a power loss protection function. That is, when the power supply to the valve positioner disappears, the valve should be kept in its current position to avoid the disappearance of the 4-20mA signal provided by the DCS (the AO signal provided by the DCS to the valve positioner is not redundant), causing the water level control valve of the high and low pressure heater to quickly enter the fully open or fully closed position, If the water level of the high and low pressure heaters fluctuates, it may cause the disconnection of the high and low pressure heaters and cause production accidents. We use ABB TZIDC positioners with power off and signal off protection functions, without the need for any additional current relays or solenoid valves to achieve signal off protection. When the DCS signal disappears, the positioners lock the cylinder air source of the high and low pressure heater regulating valve, thereby achieving power off protection function;
