Description
3BSE008538R1 Data Collection Module
3BSE008538R1 allows legacy PLC users to create an intelligent network and optimize asset management. 3BSE008538R1 has two new analog I/O modules and Hart protocol. These new modules supplement the existing analog+Hart modules for controlling the Logix and Cantor Logix PLCS, and are specifically designed for legacy PLCS. The module is expected to be put into use in October 2006. The on-site ports Fpio-I8H-EIP module and Fpio-I8H-EIP module provide complete simulation capability, and only offer the additional benefits of road addressable remote sensor protocol in one I/O module. In addition, the module also features ether IP and modular system interfaces, making it easy to use. The analog I/O module of the Hart protocol maximizes I/O performance by combining real-time Hart data acquisition with standard analog acquisition and control – a small fraction of the cost.
3BSE008538R1 can also be based on time and instant interrupts, making it a “quick response” application, such as a packaging machine. Single machine free visible logic software provides a user-friendly environment for hardware configuration, module ladder application development, and HMI design, including industrial image libraries. The company also provides free technical support for all of its products. Visual 130 minimizes hardware requirements, reduces overall system costs, saves cabinet space, and most importantly, eliminates the need for user settings for panel PLC communication. Single machine free visible logic software provides a user-friendly environment for hardware configuration, module ladder application development, and HMI design, including industrial image libraries.
The configuration of 3BSE008538R1 includes digital and analog inputs and outputs, high-speed I/O, PT100/thermocouple function, and weight measurement load unit. I/O can be installed locally or remotely, from the controller up to 1000 meters. These power supplies are equipped with recipe functions, micro SD cards for storing, recording, and backing up data, as well as complete PLC cloning. The system integrator can rely on a single device: the visual 130 unit can support 24 automatically adjustable 530 loops to control temperature, level, and pressure. A graphical LCD display screen with a 2.4’128×64 pixel operation interface supporting over 1024 user designed screens, each application with 400 images, a 20 key keyboard, capable of displaying trend charts, and a text string library. The application logic stored in the internal memory is 512K, the font is 128K, and the image is 256K. Communication options include Ethernet, cellular, and industrial protocols such as MODBUS, DF1 slave, J1939, CAN open, etc. In addition, the visual 130 unit can “teach” communication through almost any ASCII protocol.
