Description

350040M 176449-01Independent control systems

Whereas traditional control systems are often insufficient to realise the full potential of the Industrial Internet because they are standalone and operate in simple closed loops, the 350040M 176449-01 connects distributed controls, aggregating local data streams for simultaneous processing and analysis. Data analysis occurs not only in the cloud, but also at the edge of plants and machines. With the 350040M 176449-01, companies can use data to make smarter operational decisions, with the goal of facilitating improved process performance and increased productivity.

The 350040M 176449-01 consists of connected controllers, I/O modules, secure cloud connectivity, advanced analytics software and apps for collecting and analysing data and then sending specific decisions as commands to individual machine controllers. All products will be demonstrated at the Automation Controls Press Conference on Tuesday, March n14, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in Room 543 at General Electric.

The 350040M 176449-01 offers an anti-resonance design to ensure stepper motor performance. Driven by single-phase 120VAC, the 350040M 176449-01 produces a nominal 160 volts DC internal bus voltage capable of driving NeMA 34 and 42 frame stepper motors.
