The 3500/92 136180-01 Series supports the Modbus/RTU protocol, so it can be connected to other Modbus modules without any additional software or cost. 3500 Series controls can be easily integrated into most HMI and SCADA devices that use the Modbus/RTU protocol. The module’s added bi-directional capability allows manufacturers to send messages to plant floor equipment for activities such as batch recipe changes, production orders, inventory adjustments and other manufacturing or distribution orders.
